Portadown winger Chris Lavery has suffered a set back in his recovery from a medial ligament tear as a recent scan showed a grade 2 tear rather than grade 1.
The 28 year old is looking at a further 4 weeks on the sidelines with the club hopeful he’ll be back in training for the beginning of November.
Lavery has 4 appearances for the Ports this season scoring one goal and last featured as a substitute against Dundela on the 7th September.
