Portadown are back in Bluefin Sport Championship action this Saturday (26 October 19) when we travel to the Dub to take on Queens University (Kick Off 3pm).

Portadown are coming off the back of a first league win in three following last weeks victory over Dergview and can welcome back Chris Crane from suspension following his red card on his last visit to the Dub when we played the PSNI, Chris Lavery remains side lined until November at the earliest with a grade 2 medial ligament tear.

Queens University have had a steady if unspectacular 2019/20 Bluefin Sport Championship campaign so far following their promotion, they’ve had five league wins which is just one less than Newry City AFC in fourth place however they’ve eight league defeats which is just one less than Knockbreda in last place. Queens are also coming off the back of two straight league victories including an impressive 5-2 win over Dundela in their last home game and last week were 3-1 winners away to Knockbreda.

The last time the two teams met was at Shamrock Park earlier this season when Portadown ran out 3-1 winners thanks to two Lee Bonis goals and a Callum Ferris strike.
