Portadown are back in Bluefin Sport Championship action this Saturday (7 December 19) when we face Ballinamallard United at Ferney Park (Kick off 5pm)
Ports manager Matthew Tipton has informed us that Greg Hall has started jogging again as he continues his rehabilitation from injury while Poggy Robinson is continuing to make steady progress following a broken ankle, other than those two injuries it’s a clean bill of health for the Ports squad.
After a stuttering start to their 2019/20 Bluefin Sport Championship campaign which seen them lose two and draw one of their opening four league games Ballinamallard United have put together a great run of form which has seen them emerge as one of the main challengers to ourselves at the top of the Championship.
In striker Ryan Campbell Ballinamallard have the most potent striker in the Championship, he has seventeen league goals so far this season including eight in his last four games so the Ports rear guard will have to be at it’s very best to stop him from adding to his tally on Saturday. Campbell has also a decent record against Portadown with three in his last five games against Matthew Tipton’s men.
