Portadown Football Club are delighted to announce that we’ll be reopening the gates to Shamrock Park this Saturday (29 August) to welcome fans back home as we host three special events to conclude the 2019/20 season and look forward to the 2020/21 campaign!

The day will kick off at 11am as our new 2020/21 home and away kits (keep an eye on our social media for their official launch this week!) go on sale in the Ports Store followed by a training match friendly kicking off at midday as Portadown manager Matthew Tipton pits his squad against each other. The day will then conclude with an address to supporters from the Chairman and board of directors and a presentation ceremony as supporters clubs and WE ARE PORTS present their player awards for the 2019/20 season.

With the current restrictions in place this means that currently only 254 supporters are allowed access to Shamrock Park at any one time therefore Saturdays event will be a STRICTLY TICKETED EVENT with tickets being free and available from portadownfc.co.uk, supporters will be asked to provide name and contact information when obtaining their ticket online and those that do not have a ticket WILL NOT be granted entry into Shamrock Park. Supporters will need to produce their proof of their ticket to stewards on duty at the entrance to Shamrock Park, you can produce your ticket by either printing it off and showing it or displaying it via your mobile phone.

Please note that if availing of multiple tickets in one transaction then the person registering for the tickets will be the lead booker and therefore will be responsible for the tracking and tracing of the other people within their ticket transaction if required, also if availing of tickets for multiple people on a single transaction all the people on that individual ticket transaction MUST arrive & enter together at the same time.

Other measures which will be in place on Saturday and must be strictly adhered to are:

  • 1 way entry and 1 way exit system
  •  Temperature check on arrival
  •  Hand sanitising on arrival
  •  Only seats with a green tick attached can be sat in (unless you arrive with members from your own household)
  •  2m social distancing in place

Please note that club volunteers are not required to register for a ticket for this event, please contact Ronnie Thompson or Bill Emerson for the procedure for volunteer tickets.

Tickets are available via the following link:

Please note that anyone failing to adhere to the strict measures in place for this Saturdays event will be asked to leave the ground.

We thank supporters in advance for their understanding and observing the strict restrictions we will have in place in Saturday at Shamrock Park, we look forward to welcoming everyone back.
