Portadown Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of 29 year old former Loughgall & Warrenpoint Town goalkeeper Gareth Buchanan.
Buchanan, from Gilford, has most recently been plying his trade in Mid-Ulster’s Intermediate A with hometown team Banbridge Rangers after leaving Warrenpoint Town in September 2020 to play more regular football after previously been on the books of Glenavon, Banbridge Town, Dungannon Swifts and Loughgall.
Gareth will offer competition to current Ports number 1 Ben Pierce as Portadown manager Matthew Tipton looks to bolster his squad in the January transfer window.
