Laurelvale 0-2 Portadown U20s
A young Portadown U20s squad played MUFL intermediate A side Laurelvale on Saturday at Tandragee Recreation Centre in their first fixture back following lockdown restrictions being lifted. The game allowed Portadown to utilise a squad of 19 players in the game in order to get all players valuable minutes on the pitch. Portadown played some good football throughout and took the lead in the first half when Striker James McCammon (pictures) poked home from close range from a corner. 8 Subs were made at half time and Portadown consolidated their advantage in the second half when midfielder Isaac Baird slotted the ball past the keeper to make it 2-0 and seal the victory for the Ports who will now travel to play Dungannon Swifts u20s on Thursday night, 29th April.
