Portadown are back in Danske Bank Premiership action this evening (Tues 25 May) when we take on Dungannon Swifts at Shamrock Park in our final home game of this campaign, kick off 7:45pm.

Dungannon Swifts come into the game off a 3-1 defeat to Ballymena United at the Showgrounds while Portadown were 2-0 victors over Carrick Rangers in their last Danske Bank Premiership outing.

The last time the two clubs met was back in April when Portadown ran out 1-0 winners thanks to a stunning Adam Salley strike from distance, the Ports third victory over Dungannon Swifts this season.

We look forward to welcoming home supporters back into Shamrock Park for the first time since December 2020. Please note the game is ticket only with tickets available for purchase via the link below, due to covid restriction no cash facility is available:

Here’s what Portadown manager Matthew Tipton had to say ahead of tomorrows game

My final notes of what has been an extraordinary season are upon us. Whilst we have had an incredibly condensed season with only starting in October it’s been a long time since the players have had a break with last season being “curtailed” but the uncertainty of when we were getting back meant that the players had to continue training right the way through which was not only physically demanding but also mentally draining so with the fans being allowed back in tonight it couldn’t have been timed better for us. The vocal backing which we have missed this season in some of our tight games will be massive tonight for one more big push. Hopefully next season will be back to some normality & we have full houses on a regular basis.
