Portadown U18s have made a great start to their NIFL Academy u18 league campaign, after sitting out the whole of last season due to the postponement of local football, the young Ports where keen to hit the ground running when they made their return to competitive football and they have done that with aplomb. Starting any season off unbeaten is no mean feat but with such a young side to pick from the performances and results have been impressive, players as young as 13 years old making their debuts in the u18s league and performing so well can only mean good signs as the Ports look to blood the younger players through their Academy system.
