Both Ports u20s & u18s sides went into the weekend facing crucial matchups with both collecting 3 points.

First up on Friday night, Ports u18s welcomed local rivals Glenavon u18s to Brownstown Park in the NIFL U18 Developmental League Section A and it was the Ports that got the upper hand, running out convincing 5-0 winners. Goals for the Ports came through Cochrane, Skelton and an impressive hat trick from J McCullough that included two goals from direct free kicks. Ports move up to 2nd spot after the well earned win with 22 points through 12 games.

It wasn’t until Monday night when Ports u20s got into action, welcoming Dungannon Swifts u20s to Shamrock Park and it was the Ports that got the 3 points. Goals from Harry Anderson x2, Sam Warde and young Joe Williamson (pictured) seen the point get a well earned win with Sam Glenfield picking up the Man of the Match award. The result moves Ports u20s up to 7th in the table with 15 points after 13 games.
