We have had a few queries on the process of buying an online Match Ticket so please see below step-by-step guide with screenshots of how to purchase.
Step 1: Log on to tickets.portadownfc.co.uk or click the tickets button at the top of this page. Then click the BUY TICKETS button in the middle of the webpage.
Step 2: This will take you to the fixtures page, which will show all fixtures available for purchase. Select the fixture you would like and which end of the ground by pressing the relevant button.
Step 3: You will now be shown the different ‘Ticket Types’, generally Adult or Concession. Press the one you would like to purchase.
Step 4: On this window, select how many of the ticket types you would like, then click ‘Add to Cart’. This will add them to your cart and ready for purchase. If you need to select a different ticket type, simply go back one step and select the other ticket type and they will all save to your basket.
Step 5: Once you are happy that all your tickets are in your cart, click on the shopping trolley icon on the top right of the website and this will show you all the items in your cart. You can adjust from this window if it is not correct, by adjusting the quantity or by pressing the X button to take them out of your cart completely. When adjusting remember to always click ‘Update Basket’. Once happy to proceed, press ‘Proceed to Checkout’.
Step 6: You will be presented with the 1st stage of the purchasing process, ‘Sign In’. You have a few options here, if you have signed into the website before, simply enter your email and password under Existing Customer and click ‘Login’. If you haven’t done that before then you have two choices – 1) Create An Account – this will mean you can log in to the website to view your purchases, resend your confirmation email etc. or 2) Continue as Guest – this will let you through to the 2nd stage of the purchasing process but will mean you cant log back in to an account in future. Either these two options work fine and will still let you continue to the next stage.
Step 7: Add in your personal details, including attendee information for each of the tickets being purchased (this is a requirement as ID may be asked for when entering the grounds). Make sure when inputting the information that your email address is correct, as this is where the online ticket will be sent to. A common issue we have found is that when an email address is auto populated, it leaves a space at the end of the email address, the website will through this up as an error so make sure the address is typed in correctly. Once completed, click Next Stage at the bottom of the window.
Step 8: Enter your payment details into this window to complete the purchase by pressing ‘Place Order’. This will take you to a Confirmation page that will summarize your purchase.
Step 9: Once payment has been confirmed, your will receive and email to the email address supplied with a confirmation of purchase along with a link to download your Match Ticket. This will include the QR Code that will be scanned when entering Shamrock Park, you can either present it on your mobile device (but make sure your screen brightness is turned up and you have it prepared when approaching the grounds to avoid queues) or you can print it out for entry.
