Portadown FC can confirm that Chris Lavery has left the club with immediate effect.
Chris joined Portadown in the summer of 2017 from Glentoran following previous spells at Lurgan Celtic, Dungannon Swifts and Glenavon & would go on to make 133 apperances for the Ports scoring 30 goals since making his debut against Larne in August 2017.
During his time at Shamrock Park Chris picked up the NIFL Championship Player of the Month in March 2018 & also picked up the club’s Players Player of the Year and a clean sweep of Supporters Club’s Player of the Year awards in 2017/18.

Chris has been a great servant to club over the last 5 years and has made this decision with a view to go and get game time. He goes with nothing but our best wishes and we thank him for the valuable contribution he has made during his time with the club.
