Portadown manager Paul Doolin has announced the team’s pre-season friendly schedule ahead of the 2022/23 Premiership campaign which kicks off on Saturday 13th August.

The Ports will kick off their preparations with a game against Championship side Knockbreda at Breda Park on Friday 22 July in the annual Derek McKinley Memorial Cup followed by a trip the next day (Sat 23 July) to Northern Amateur Football League Rathfriland Rangers (ko 3pm).

There’s a double header on Tuesday 26 July with separate Portadown XIs taking on Hanover at Brownstown Park (ko 7:30pm) & Dundela at Wilgar Park (ko 7:30pm).

Paul Doolin’s men will make further trips to Maiden City (Fri 29 July), Ballinamallard Utd (Sat 30 July), Loughgall (Tues 2 August), Dollingstown (Fri 5 August), H&W Welders (Sat 6 August) before rounding our schedule off with a game at Shamrock Park against Seagoe on Monday 8 August.
