Portadown FC has this morning unveiled it’s new 1887 branded home and away kits for the 2022-23 season.

The 1887 brand should be no stranger to Portadown supporters, it’s the brand behind our own popular in house bespoke retro leisure wear and is named after the year of the club’s formation.

As supporters can see from the pictures and video below, this seasons kit – particularly the grey away shirt, pays more than a nod to our kits from the 1991/92 season when Portadown were both holders of the Irish League title and Irish Cup – a modern twist has been added however with a red & white round neck and sleeve end design along with gold flashes on the home shirt.

The kits once again this season will have Manfreight as our main sponsor on the front of the shirt along with Dalzells of Markethill, Bosch and David Jameson Roofing and Asbestos Removal Specialist on the back of the shirts, Haffey Sports Grounds on the sleeve and Bann Hire and Sales on the shorts.

The club are also delighted to announce a new partnership with C & G Embroidery which will see the local business and long time sponsor of the club not only act as our official kit supplier but in a new exciting development will see them house a dedicated Portadown FC store stocked with 1887 replica shirts and training gear within their premises 134 Dobbin Rd, Portadown, Craigavon BT62 4EZ. The Portadown Store in the premises of C&G Embroidery will be open during their business hours which are

Monday to Saturday – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Supporters will also still be able to purchase their replica 1887 gear along with other Portadown souvenirs from the Ports Store at Shamrock Park which will be open on match days and match nights.

A release date for the kit, arrangements and prices will be made available in due course so please keep an eye on the club’s official website as well as our social media channels.
