Portadown Football Club is delighted to announce that Barney McKeown has committed his future to the club by signing a new deal to remain at Shamrock Park.
McKeown, 21, returned to Portadown in 2020 from Newry City, the Camlough native had previously been at Premier League side Everton who he joined in 2017 from Portadown Youth.
Barney had joined Portadown Youth from hometown club Camlough Rovers as a 12-year-old and made the move to Goodison Park from Portadown Youth at the age of 16 and was one of only 14 players offered a scholarship by Everton that summer.
The popular midfielder had a injury hit season in 2021/22 but is now injury free and is looking forward to adding to his 45 appearances in a red shirt.
