A great night was had by all at last evenings We Are Ports Community Fun Night at Shamrock Park with lots of families, young people and familiar faces in attendance complete with lots of smiles on display and everyone appearing to be enjoying the many activities on hand as well as the great warm weather.
Those enjoying the festivities were treated to bouncy castles, inflatables, a Portadown shirt display spanning over 30 years from supporter Ruth McCauley, face painting, food vendors including Flat Dogs, Garlic and Thyme Pizza and Grind & Roll ice-cream as well as live music from Leah Jordan.
Supporters were also able to have a first look at our newly decorated playing and tunnel area which includes the highly impressive artwork by local artist Dean Kane and given the chance to purchase the new 2022/23 1887 home and away shirts.
The night was rounded off with Portadown beating Seagoe for the George Richardson Memorial Cup.
A massive thanks to We Are Ports for funding the event and to everyone working behind the scenes to make sure the night went smoothly and was a success.
We hope everyone had a great time and thank you all for coming along, we hope to see many of you back at Shamrock Park over the course of the upcoming season.
