Last night’s League Cup tie against Armagh City marked the first Portadown FC match since the passing of HRH Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday 8th September 2022.

As a mark of respect and to commemorate the occasion Portadown players wore special edition shirts which featured a black ribbon and the words ‘In Memory Of HRH Queen Elizabeth II’.

Following Saturdays game against Larne the club have decided to sell these one off special edition players shirts with all proceeds going to The Prince’s Trust.

The Prince’s Trust helps disadvantaged young people turn their lives around by running a range of programmes to help unemployed young people gain the skills and confidence they need to find a job or training opportunity, or set up their own business.
