With the New Year approaching Portadown FC have moved some fixture dates and KO times around in an aim to attract a bigger following for the Ports at Shamrock Park. The following dates have been agreed with NIFL:
Portadown v Carrick Rangers – Fri 20th Jan – 7.45pm KO
Portadown v Glenavon – Sat 18th Feb – 5.30pm KO
Portadown v Dungannon Swifts – Fri 24th Feb – 7:45pm KO
Portadown Manager, Niall Currie, commented:
We realise we lose a lot of home support with so many of our supporters being involved in local football and Mid Ulster, this is done for them to add to the great support we get every Sat and to give them a chance to get out on Friday nights and Saturday after their games to get right behind us. We need all the backing we can possibly get for the rest of this season, hopefully we can fill our ground with Red and White
