Portadown Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of 26 year old Eoghan McCawl from Dundela.
Eoghan, from Annacloy in County Down, was at Hull City as a scholar with the talented midfielder progressing to The Tigers academy and going on to make appearances for their U18s team during his time at the MKM Stadium. He would move on to Scottish Premiership side St Johnstone in 2015 where he would link up with former Northern Ireland international Tommy Wright.
Eoghan would spend a season on loan at Forfar Athletic as they won promotion from Scottish Division Two before leaving St Johnstone to return home to join Glentoran in 2017.
The former Northern Ireland U21 and U19 international would leave the Oval to join Ards in January 2019 before making the move to Wilgar Park in August 2019.
