Portadown Football Club can confirm this afternoon that on loan striker Jordan Jenkins has been recalled by his parent club, Glentoran.

Jenkins, 22, joined Portadown on loan from the Glens in August and has scored 6 goals in 23 appearances during his time at Shamrock Park.

On Jenkins returning to his parent club, Portadown manager Niall Currie said

We’re really sorry to see Jordan go, he has worked his socks off for the club since the day I arrived.

As much as we’d love Jordan to stay he has a loyalty to his parent club in Glentoran and we wish him all the best.
