We were delighted to host two groups of young people and their parents as community guests for our match against Linfield on Saturday.

Ballyvea 2013s came up from Kilkeel to join us for the day. They received a pre match tour of the art work in the tunnel area, champions wall and trophy presentations down the years. Portadown manager, Niall Currie, took time out of his pre match routine to give the boys a pep talk in the home changing room and answer plenty of interesting questions. Kit Manager, Jason Hall, was also on hand to chat to the boys about our players match day routines and what all he does to look after them.

We welcomed our second group, Portadown 2013s into the changing room area, pre match, for a chat and some photographs. The boys accepted an invitation to walk out with the senior team as mascots for the big match. They did a great job!

The highlight of the day for both teams was the opportunity to entertain the Portadown and Linfield supporters at half time by playing an exhibition match against each other on the Shamrock pitch.
