Portadown have a number of players out on loan at present and here’s our review of how each of those fared over the last week.
Jake Willis – Knockbreda
On Tuesday evening Jake was a substitute coming on in the 77th minute as Knockbreda were beaten 9-1 by Larne in the League Cup. Jake started and played the full game as Knockbreda were beaten 2-1 by H&W Welders on Saturday afternoon in the Playr-Fit Championship.
Igor Rutkowski – Knockbreda
Igor started and played 74 minutes as Knockbreda were beaten 2-1 by H&W Welders on Saturday afternoon in the Playr-Fit Championship.
Jack Ovens – Queens University
Jack started and played 86 minutes as Queens were beaten 3-1 by Linfield on Tuesday evening in the League Cup. On Saturday Jack started and played 73 minutes as Queens beat Coagh United 2-1 in the Playr-Fit Premier Intermediate.
Zach Cowan – Dollingstown
On Tuesday evening Zach was a substitute coming on in the 85th minute as Dollingstown were beaten 2-0 by Glentoran in the League Cup. Zach was also a substitute coming on again in the 85th minute as Dollingstown beat Lisburn Distillery 2-0 in the Playr-Fit Premier Intermediate on Saturday afternoon.
Ronan Burns – Rathfriland Rangers
Ronan started and played the full game as Rathfriland Rangers beat Moyola Park 3-0 in the Playr-Fit Premier Intermediate on Saturday afternoon.
