On this afternoons game Portadown Manager Niall Currie commented

We were all disappointed after the Dundela game obviously but I will say thank you to the boys for an outstanding effort and recovery from our 3 defeats in a row earlier in the season, that’s what’s needed, I think we have 1 defeat in 8 games now so we’re in a decent place as far as I’m concerned.

We look forward to Sunday knowing a difficult day is ahead but as I always say, we will try to make sure we focus on ourselves and try to make sure we are at our best.
