As the new football season kicks off this weekend, we want to take the opportunity to offer clarity and transparency about our match day admission prices for both Portadown supporters, and opposition supporters who will be attending Shamrock Park.
As per league rules, pricing and promotions being offered to home supporters must also be offered to away supporters.
While we understand that costs have risen for all of the clubs in NIFL, we do not want to price children and young people out of attending home and away matches with their parents or carers, on a regular basis.
We understand that for an adult/adults, having a couple of children or young people attending football matches with them, can make the day out more expensive, especially an away day.
For example, for a primary school child coming along to watch their favourite team, the thought of paying £10 seems unreasonable.
With that in mind, the following is a breakdown of what our match day admission charges will be for home and away supporters attending Portadown matches this season. We will make these prices clear and visible at our turnstiles and on our online ticket portal and we are asking each club in the league to reciprocate these prices when we visit their stadium.
Adult £15
Senior (66+) or Student (ID Shown) £10
Under 16 Years £5
Primary School £1
Encouraging children and young people to attend matches on a regular basis can only benefit all of our clubs in the longer term, and we would love to see a more reasonable and transparent pricing structure offered, to ensure that all of our children and young people have as much opportunity as possible to follow their team.
