Portadown Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Jordan Williamson.
The 29 year old goalkeeper began his career at Crusaders before having spells at Knockbreda and PSNI prior to making the move to Ballymena United in January 2019.
Jordan would go on to make 86 apperances, keeping 27 clean sheets and appearing in consecutive Irish Cup Finals against Crusaders before returning to Seaview in 2023 as back up to Jonathan Tuffey.
Jordan would only make 3 apperances in his second spell at the Crues before departing at the conclusion of the 2023/24 season.
After leaving Crusaders, Williamson opted to join NAFL Division 2B outfit Lower Shankill with a view to getting himself back fully fit.
On making the move to Shamrock Park, Jordan commented
Portadown is a massive club with massive history and when a club of this stature and a manager like Niall Currie comes calling it’s a simple decision.
I can’t wait to get going and to represent this wonderful club.

To get a goalkeeper of his experience and class is needed as we are trying to build a squad with competition for places and with Jordan on board we feel we have that now.
Jordan was offered full time deals elsewhere but believes we are the best pathway.
