Everyone at Portadown Football Club is delighted with the news that two school teams from our town have reached their respective Northern Ireland Schools FA Cup Finals on Wednesday 2nd April at The National Stadium, Windsor Park.
First up are current holders, Portadown College U16 Girls, who will kick off at 10.30am against Parkhall Integrated College from Antrim, in what is sure to be an excellent game of football. Congratulations to all of the girls, especially those represented who also play for Portadown.
At 12.45pm, Craigavon Senior High U16 Boys will line up to face St. Malachy’s College in what will be a strongly contested match. Coached by our former players, Neil Alderdice & Daniel Gordon, the team also includes some current Portadown players and we wish them all well as they contest the final.
We are so proud of all of the players and coaches of both teams, representing our town at the highest level and we look forward to both teams bringing more silverware back to Portadown.
We encourage anyone who is available, to get to Windsor Park and cheer on both teams as they represent the town of Portadown at Windsor Park.
