Portadown Football Club is delighted to announce a new three year partnership with adidas, via Pro:Direct Clubhouse, that will see the sportswear giant once again become the club’s official kit partner.

From this spring, 2025, the Ports will wear the iconic three stripes for the fifth time in its illustrious history, with adidas supplying a range of match kit, training kit and leisure wear to all men’s, ladies and youth teams, with the ladies team already having taken delivery of their new unique kit in preparation for their season which begins in May.

Portadown and adidas partnered together through some of the club’s most successful eras, first from 1979 to 1983, 1996 to 2006, from 2007 to 2008 and again from 2018 to 2022. It was in the three stripes that the Ports secured an Irish Premier League title, two Irish Cups, an Irish Championship title, three Mid-Ulster Cups and a Charity Shield not to mention playing Champions League and UEFA Cup football and being worn in historic friendlies against major English clubs such as Manchester United, Leicester City, Sunderland and Sheffield United, not to mention being also being worn by the late great George Best.

The adidas kit is synonymous with success at Portadown and considered among the most universally loved strips with many still having an affinity for PFC adidas shirts from years gone by.

Adidas will provide bespoke kits for the men’s senior team with selected items beginning to go on sale from June and a dedicated online shop for Portadown FC Youth to enable parents to purchase kit and training apparel for their son or daughter.

On what supporters can expect from the partnership, Johny added

We’re working very closely with adidas to create bespoke kits that are unique to Portadown, something the fans can wear with real pride. Alongside that we’ve got plans for limited edition drops and one off pieces throughout the season. Exclusive products that tell a story, its identity and journey of the club. This is all part of our 360 kit model which means everything from home and away kits to training wear and life style pieces are part of a connected high quality collection.
