Portadown Football Club can confirm that Dougie Wilson will depart the club to join Loughgall at the conclusion of his contract.
Dougie joined the club from Ballymena United in June 2023 and went on to make 40 appearances, scoring 4 goals.
The defender from Markethill picked up Championship and Mid Ulster Cup winners medals during his time at Shamrock Park as well as being part of the BetMcLean Cup Final squad last season, and this season contributed as we secured our best top flight finish in a decade – who can forget that last second equaliser against Coleraine at Shamrock Park!
On Dougie’s departure, Portadown manager Niall Currie commented
