Portadown Football Club can confirm a number of changes to Niall Currie’s backroom team ahead of our 2025/26 Sports Direct Premiership campaign.
Jake Young joins the club as senior team analyst following spells at the academies of both Glentoran and Larne as well as with Ballyclare Comrades first team squad, while Brett Thompson comes on board as our new sports therapist, having previously worked with Ballymena United and under current Ports boss Niall Currie at Carrick Rangers.
The appointments continue the development of the first team infrastructure, ahead of players returning to pre-season on the 24th June.
While we welcome Jake and Brett we sadly say farewell to first team physio Cameron Shaw who departs the club after three years, we wish Cameron every success for the future and thank him for his effort, time and commitment to the club during his time with us.
