Portadown Football Club is pleased to announce that James Teelan has penned a new deal to remain at Shamrock Park.
The 22 year old winger began his career at Portadown within the youth system at the club before spells at Dungannon Swifts, Newry City A.F.C., Crusaders and Carrick Rangers (loan).
James re-joined the club in January during the winter transfer window, scoring 3 goals in 16 appearances.
On James’s new deal, Portadown manager Niall Currie commented
We’re delighted James has committed for another season, he’s been a wonderful acquisition since we signed him in the window and has came back after our break flying.
He’s a game changer on his day and that’s what every team needs.
While James added
I am delighted to sign back for another year with Portadown as I really enjoyed my football last year and feel as though Niall can get the best out of me.
I’m really looking forward to playing in front of the fans this season as there is a real feel good factor at Shamrock Park at the minute.
