Portadown Football Club were deeply honoured yesterday evening to unveil and dedicate a newly updated War Memorial Plaque at Shamrock Park, paying tribute to the players and officials who served and sacrificed during times of conflict.
The updated memorial ensures that all those connected with our club who gave their lives in the service of their country are rightfully remembered. Their courage and commitment—both on and off the field—represent the finest values of our community and our club.
During the dedication ceremony, club representatives, supporters, and local dignitaries gathered in solemn remembrance to honour their memory and reflect on the enduring impact of their sacrifice.
Portadown FC remains committed to preserving the history and heritage of our club, ensuring that future generations continue to recognise and respect those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
