Portadown Football Club is pleased to announce that Baris Altintop has agreed a contract extension to remain at Shamrock Park.
Baris, 25, arrived on loan from Larne in August 2024 before making the move permanent in January 2025 and has went on to make 52 appearances for Niall Currie’s side in the heart of the Ports defence, becoming a fan favourite due to his commanding presence and leadership.
On his new deal, Baris commented
I’m happy to have extended my stay at the club, I’ve made another home over here thanks to the players, staff, board and especially Paul Jackson and family.
We’ve still a long season ahead of us and much more to give as a team and myself as an individual, so we need you fans right behind us as you’ve been doing.
I look forward to the rest of my time at the club.
