Portadown Football Club is delighted to announce that Rabby Tabu Minzamba has signed a new multi-year contract to remain at Shamrock Park.
The midfielder, who has featured for clubs in the Republic of Ireland and England, joined the Ports from Leinster Senior League side, Montpelier and has made 41 appearances since his debut against Annagh United in the Irish Cup in January 2025.
On the re-signing of the combative midfielder, Portadown manager, David Jeffrey MBE commented,
I’m overjoyed that Rabby has agreed to a new contract with us. The manner with which he held himself during our conversations was refreshing, honest and transparent, and having only been in the job a week and a half, it’s something that thoroughly impressed me.
Rabby had better financial offers from several other clubs but wanted to remain at Shamrock Park and this showed me the desire he has to play for this club and that his heart is with Portadown.
I must also pay tribute to the effort and work put in behind the scenes by David Douglas and Shane Dolan in getting this deal done.
Rabby added
