Portadown Football Club is delighted to announce an exciting new chapter in its long-standing relationship with Simplyfruit, who have been named the club’s Official Healthy Eating Partner.

The partnership builds on an already strong relationship between the two organisations, with Simplyfruit having proudly served as the club’s Media Partner since 2022. Their continued support has played an important role in helping the club enhance its digital content and supporter engagement over the past four seasons.

Founded by Managing Director Patrick McCann, Simplyfruit traces its roots back to 1987, when the business began operating from a small shed at Washing Bay on the shores of Lough Neagh, processing Bramley apples from County Armagh orchards. From those modest beginnings, the company has grown into Ireland’s leading fruit processing business, supplying fresh, healthy fruit products to retailers, schools, businesses and foodservice customers across the UK and Ireland.

As Official Healthy Eating Partner, Simplyfruit will work alongside Portadown Football Club to promote the importance of healthy nutrition and wellbeing throughout the club. The partnership will support initiatives involving the first team, academy and community programmes, encouraging positive lifestyle choices on and off the pitch.

The collaboration also strengthens the shared commitment of both organisations to supporting the local community while championing health, wellbeing and excellence.
