Portadown Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Dominic Dos Santos Martins.

The London-born midfielder arrives at Shamrock Park following a spell with English club Luton Town, where he progressed through the club’s academy after joining at Under-18 level.

Dominic signed a professional development contract with the Hatters in September 2024 and became a regular member of Alex Lawless’ Under-21 side during the 2024/25 season. He played an important role as Luton reached the last 16 of the Premier League Cup and also gained valuable experience by being named on the first-team bench for Premier League fixtures against AFC Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest.

In March 2025, Dominic joined Hitchin Town on loan before departing Luton Town later that year. He subsequently signed for Morpeth Town in September 2025, continuing his development in senior football before making the move to Blyth Town in February 2026.

Now, Dominic makes the move to Shamrock Park ahead of the new season, adding further quality and competition to the squad.

On the signing of Dominic, PFC Head of Recruitment and Football Operations, David Douglas commented

Dominic is a player that we have been monitoring and had the opportunity to see him up close as a trialist in our recent pre season friendly against Bohemians.

He is primarily a defensive midfielder who is positionally aware and has the technical ability and passing range to create opportunities for forwards. He showed very well against a really good Bohemians team and we look forward to seeing him in a Portadown shirt this season.
