Portadown Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of striker Conor Falls from Cliftonville.
Falls began his career in the Glentoran Academy before making the move across the water to join Huddersfield Town in 2020. During his 5 years at the Accu Stadium, the Cookstown native progressed from the Under-17s through to the B Team and gained valuable senior experience during loan spells with Stalybridge Celtic, Liversedge and Curzon Ashton. He also represented Northern Ireland at Under-21 level before returning home to sign for Cliftonville in June 2025.
The 22-year-old made 21 appearances for the Reds last season, scoring twice, before joining Glenavon on loan in January. He enjoyed an impressive spell at Mourneview Park, finding the net five times in 13 appearances for the Lurgan side.
PFC Head of Recruitment and Football Operations, David Douglas, commented
Conor is a player I’ve known for a long time since playing for the same Glentoran 2004 team as Matty Carson.
He progressed to Huddersfield, NI under 21s and more recently, Cliftonville and Glenavon.
Conor is a very technical player, mobile, pacey and a fantastic finisher who will add flexibility to our striking options.
Portadown manager, David Jeffrey MBE, added
I’m delighted to welcome Conor to Shamrock Park.
Conor showed a real desire to join Portadown, his enthusiasm to be part of the club was evident and this is something which really pleased me.”
