Portadown Football Club welcome Dungannon Swifts to Shamrock Park tomorrow, Saturday 15 August, for our first home fixture of the 2026/27 campaign, with kick-off at 3.00pm.

Ahead of the game, we would like to remind all supporters of a number of important matchday arrangements which are in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone attending.

Training Pitch Out of Bounds

The training pitch is strictly out of bounds to supporters and must not be used at any time.

We ask everyone to respect this instruction and remain within the designated spectator areas.

Supporter Exit Arrangements

Following the final whistle, home supporters will be asked to remain inside the stadium while away supporters leave.

This arrangement is based on previous incidents and advice received from the police. It is an important measure designed to prevent potential crowd disturbances and avoid the possibility of the club facing disciplinary action or fines.

We appreciate that this may cause some inconvenience, but we ask supporters to remain patient and follow the instructions of stewards.

Pedestrian Zone and Vehicle Restrictions

Please also be aware that no vehicles will be permitted to move within the stadium area from one hour before kick-off until 30 minutes after the final whistle.

During this period, the stadium will operate as a pedestrian zone in accordance with NIFL matchday requirements.

This is particularly important when supporters are being held back after the match.

Allowing vehicles to move among supporters on foot creates an unnecessary safety risk and makes the process of safely managing the crowd considerably more difficult.

We therefore ask all drivers to plan accordingly and ensure their vehicles are parked and remain stationary throughout this period.

Children at the Front of the Stand

For safety reasons, children must not run along the front of the stand.

As well as presenting a safety risk, this can cause disruption to other spectators who are watching the match.

Parents and guardians are asked to ensure children remain in appropriate areas throughout the game.

These measures are in place for the safety and enjoyment of everyone attending Shamrock Park.

We want tomorrow’s first home game of the new season to be an enjoyable occasion for players, staff and supporters alike, and your cooperation in following these arrangements is greatly appreciated.
